Support National Wear Red Day on February 7th

This day in February is dedicated to the raise awareness for heart disease by people wearing the color red. The Heart Truth is a campaign sponsored by The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Health and Human Services, to raise awareness for heart disease.
Did you know that heart disease is the no. 1 killer of women in the U.S., claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined and Hispanic women are likely to develop heart disease 10 years earlier than other women?
Learn what the risks are and how you can improve your chances and avoiding this killer disease.
The campaign created and introduced the Red Dress as the national symbol for women and heart disease awareness in 2002 as a wakeup call for American women. The campaign expanded to all genders. “Going Red” is an easy way to put anything red on to show your support. Lets all join this campaign and “Go Red” on February 7th.
